PLEASE READ BEFORE EMAILING THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD
I have received a number of emails from people who believe that they are contacting an actual railroad. While I find that flattering, I must point out that this is not the case. The real Pennsylvania Railroad merged with the New York Central Railroad in the early 1960's. The merged railroad went bankrupt less than a decade later and was absorbed into the Conrail takeover. When Conrail was split between the Norfolk Southern and CSX in the 1990's, most of what was the Pennsylvania Railroad went to the Norfolk Southern.
